Planets are the most basic type of celestial body. They can be found in all space types.

Natural Generation[edit]

Planets can be found in all space types. Their frequency compared to other celestial bodies generally decreases in deep space and dead space but still remains the most common type of celestial body in the universe.

They are also currently the only type of celestial body that can have a level as low as 0.

Usage[edit]

Upgrades

Planets are currently the only upgradeable type of celestial body, making them some of the most strategically important entities in the universe. Because then nature of upgrades allows for a large degree of specialisation in planet stats, rapid expansion over long distances are heavily reliant on planets in combination with certain types of artifacts.


Spawning

When players spawn into the universe with a whitelist key, they will be default occupy a single level 0 planet.
